n8n: mandate checks as a node in the workflow
The Mandact node for n8n brings the check into low-code automations: before a workflow cancels, orders or shares data, it asks Mandact — and branches on allow, deny or escalate.
Five operations
Verify an action (/v1/verify), record a witness (/v1/witness), consume a capability, report an execution and verify a credential — the same five operations as the Power Platform connector.
Fields instead of code
Presentation, action, optional intent, audience and capability lifetime are set as fields; the answer is available to the next node.
Placed honestly
A workflow node is a recommendation within the flow, not an unbypassable enforcement point. For enforcement the way leads through the MCP gateway or a hard PEP in front of the target system.
