Mandact — The Trust Layer of the Agent Economy

Integrations

Stripe and agent checkout: check before the token

For merchants on Stripe, Mandact is a pre-step before the Shared Payment Token: first the mandate decides whether the agent may make this purchase for this person, then Stripe executes the payment. No dedicated Stripe connector is needed — it is a pattern.

Flow

Agent request with mandate → POST /v1/verify with action and amount → on allow proceed to the Shared Payment Token and store the receipt ID with the order; on deny a machine-readable reason back to the agent; on escalate a waiting state until approval.

The budget fits

The check's latency budget (150 ms) fits existing authorisation flows; it does not noticeably block checkout.

What the receipt adds

In a dispute a signed verification receipt stands next to the Stripe transaction: who was allowed to do what, with which mandate, at what time.

Status

Integration pattern via the Verify API; no dedicated Stripe connector.
